Finding Your Perfect Size and Width
SAS shoes are famous for comfort, and a big part of that is width. Most fit problems are actually width problems!
Our size and width charts
SAS does not publish exact width measurements, because widths vary by shoe size and style, and shoe depth also affects how a shoe fits. Our size charts have full US, Euro, UK, inches, and centimetre conversions plus the width guide:
Women's widths:
- AAA = Slim (S)
- AA = Narrow (N)
- B = Medium (M)
- C = Wide (W)
- D = Double Wide (WW)
- E to EE = Triple Wide (WWW)
Men's widths:
- B = Slim
- C = Narrow
- D = Medium
- E = Wide
- EE to EEE = Double Wide
- EEE to EEEE = Triple Wide (widest)
Tips for the right fit
- If a shoe feels tight across the ball of your foot, a wider width often fixes it. If your heel slips, a narrower width or smaller size may be the answer.
- Remember that when you go up in size, the width increases as well.
- All styles fit differently, so check the product page for style-specific notes.
- If you wear doctor-recommended orthotics or inserts, they need added depth and can change how a shoe fits, so account for that when choosing.
- Feet change over time. If it has been a while since you were measured, it is worth doing again.
- Try shoes on indoors on carpet, just like in a store. That keeps them exchange-ready while you decide.
Exchanges are free
